Start by creating a copy of the editable billing template. It is in Google Docs, but when you are ready you can download it as a PDF or any other required format.
This is a standard bill for small businesses and freelancers, meaning you use it when you want to get paid for your goods and services. It works well for general bills, but not much for specialized bills such as credit or debit bills.
If you need to use an invoice for legal documents, the invoice must have a clear title, “Invoice”. It helps you save invoices directly from other documents.
You can also add a logo if you want, but it is not necessary. Place your logo below the “Invoice” header or create an unlimited table to place it to the right of the header.

Make sure the invoice includes your full business name or, if you are a contractor, your name. Include your contact information, including your address, email address, and telephone number. Include these details in the accounting documents and rules of your clients and your clients.
Enter customer name and contact information here. Include contact information whenever possible and do not be afraid to ask customers for more details. If you are billing a specific person in the company, you can list the business name and then the name of that person.
Each of your invoices should have a unique identification number for easy tracking. If you have a simple billing system, this should not be too deep.
For example, I use the date of the invoice and the order of the invoice I sent that day. The first invoice sent on 09/06/2022 contains “09062201” and the second invoice contains “09062202”. Find a number system that works for you.

If you are billing a customer in another country, use a date form that is reasonable for both of you. The template is in US MM / DD / YYYY format, but for clarity, write the month in the date. Alternatively, the date may be entered as “September 6, 2022” instead of “06.09.2022”.

Depending on the nature of your business, you may need to add taxes to your operations. Please specify the interest tax you are adding and the amount of interest added. If you did not receive the tax, delete this table range.
Post any fees and discounts here, such as late fees or early payment discounts. If you want to add commissions or other discounts, right-click on the table cell and select “Insert Line” below.
